Eaden Young lives in East London, South Africa.

Eaden, 30, a born artist; introvert but slowly emerging, a lapsed surfer of the best waves ........a dreamer? with an eye for colour and a passion for Africa and its roots.

A "Heavy Metal freak," with a wry sense of the ridiculous and love of the helpless, the handicapped and animals.
Unable to suffer fools, and a very low tolerance for the mundane and what he considers boring. An apprentice "Magpie" with an unstoppable lust for Bonsai trees which he collects, pots and strews all over the home.

A discerning cook, and a vegetarian to boot; his paintings and creative craft are timeless. His humorous animal pieces are almost child-like, yet, with his awareness of the primitive,the essential elements of colour, & decorative flair, they are collectors items. His appreciation for style, is found not only in the work which he produces, but in the hand-made wooden, painted and decorated frames that he painstakingly, makes,& 'dresses' them in.

He works in acrylic and fabric paints, constantly inventing additives to use in conjunction with the medium. Eaden does not limit his medium to painting, but often makes unusual wooden furniture, which he paints: he is a master at the decorating of Ostrich eggs, and they are always found on unusual wooden or ceramic bases to show them off.

Eaden is currently working on decorative wooden carvings, depicting the fish of the coast.
