While setting up this page I struggled with the name of the page and pondered on what would be a descriptive title of what it means to strengthen and develop both myself and other Christians. The end result came from the realisation that we develop as Christians from encouragement.

"1 Thessalonians

5:14 And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, encourage the
fainthearted, support the weak, be longsuffering toward all."

The background footprint are a reminder of the poem "Footprints in the sand", which encourages us all, with the knowledge that it is Christ who carries us in times when we may think that we have lost all hope and the times when we try to go on alone.

This page will most probably be under constant construction as we can never get to a point in time where we don't need to develop or be encouraged. It is those who believe that they've arrived, that are only at the beginning of their journey.
