We obtained our first show dog, Derosa Apolo of Chilena ("Chilli") when he was almost three years of age and was the most stunning stafford we had ever seen.
He had achieved a few RCC's at that stage and had won the Best Male Stafford and Best of Breed at the Border Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club Open Show in 1998. "Chilli" achieved his first 2 point CC in 1999 at the Port Rex Kennel Championship Show thanks to him being shown by Graham Karshagen. This was his best achievement and remains a highlight of his show career as he was chosen above a stafford that holds the record for the most CC's won in South Africa. He once again won the Border Staffordshire Bull terrier Club Open Show in 1999."Chilli" has done well in Natal in 2002. He obtained second place in the open class at the KZN Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club Championship Show and repeated this achievement at the Pietermaritzburg Kennel Club Championship Show

He was awarded his second 2 point CC on 31 August 2002 at the OFS Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club Championship Show by UK specialist judge Dr Monty Edwards. This was followed by achieving the reserve CC the next day at the Kimberley Kennel Club.
