Day 1 - Arrival & Transfer
Arrival at Johannesburg International and transfer to hotel.
Day 2 - Pretoria City & Cullinan Diamond Mine
Tour to some of the highlights of the Capital City, which includes the Union Buildings, the setting for President Nelson Mandela’s historic inauguration. Also visit Melrose house, church square and Voortrekker Monument. Followed by a surface tour of the mine where in 1905 the largest diamond in the world the famed Cullinan diamond, was discovered. |

Day 3 - Lesedi Cultural Village
Enjoy a tour through this multi-cultural village by attending a multi visual theatre presentation on the history and origin of South Africa. Visit four African cultures; Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi and Sotho. Experience traditional food, song and dance with the families.
Day 4 & 5 - Pilanesburg National Park
See game viewing at it’s best in this 58 000-hectare reserve. One of the largest in South Africa. It supports over 10 000 head of game, including the "Big Five" (elephant, leopard, lion, rhino and buffalo) as well as cheetah, hippo, giraffe, antelope and more than 350 prolific bird species.

Day 6 - Sun City
Nestled in the rolling hills of the Pilanesburg, one of South Africa’s most scenic locations, Sun City is a world unto itself and has earned its reputation as Africa’s “Kingdom of Pleasure.”
Sun City offers sizzling entertainment, world-class casinos and
restaurants to cater for all tastes, to more relaxed poolside venues,
quiet places, lush gardens and extensive sporting facilities including two
world class golf courses. Re-discover and now part of Sun City, The
Lost City and "Valley of the Waves" fabled to be the ruins of a
glorious ancient civilazation. One of the worlds most exciting water
parks.
Day 7 - Gold Reef City
In this mine 1.4 million kilogram of gold was mined. The tour includes a trip down the Gold Mine to Level 5 (220 / 785 ft below the surface). See a 12.5kg gold pour and be entertained by African Dancers. |
