PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A10.1 - Antitussives and expectorants.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
Expectorant and demulcent.

INDICATIONS:
Borstol cough remedy is indicated for the symptomatic relief of general and chronic troublesome coughs and hoarseness often associated with colds, influenza and bronchitis.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
None

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Shake the bottle well

ADULTS:
        5 mL to 10 mL every 2, 3 or 4 hours

CHILDREN:
        1 - 3 years: 10 - 20 drops
        4 - 12 years: 2,5 mL to 5 mL every 2, 3 or 4 hours.

SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
None

KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:
In case of an overdose, consult your physician.

IDENTIFICATION:
Light brown emulsion - separates on standing; on shaking it attains a reddish brown colour.

PRESENTATION:
100 mL and 200 mL bottles

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Store below 30°C.
