PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION: Glycerine has emollient properties.
INDICATIONS: Use as a lubricant.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS: Sensitivity to glycerine.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
To open tubes: Reverse cap and puncture tube with point.
Apply K-Y* JELLY to gloves or instrument in sufficient quantity to form a film over the area which is to come into contact with the patient. Wash off after use
SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Precaution: If container is damaged or opened, sterility is not guaranteed.
KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT: In the case of accidental ingestion, treatment is symptomatic and supportive.
IDENTIFICATION: Sterile, transparent, water-soluble jelly, greaseless and light amber in colour.
PRESENTATION: Tubes containing either 50 g or 100 g.
Sachets containing 2,5 g
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Store in well-closed containers below 25°C.
