PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION: A. 10.1 Antitussives and expectorants
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION: Antitussives and mild expectorant.
INDICATIONS: For the relief of unproductive cough
CONTRA-INDICATIONS: Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients
WARNINGS This product contains FD and C Yellow No. 5 (Tartrazine) which may cause allergic-type reactions (including Bronchial Asthma) in certain susceptible individuals. Although the overall incidence of Tartrazine sensitivity in the general population is currently thought to be low, it is frequently seen in patients who also have aspirin sensitivity.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE: To be taken every four hours.
Children: Up to Two years: ½ medicine measure (2,5 mL)
Children: Over Two years: 1 medicine measure (5 mL)
Adults: 1-3 medicine measure (5-15 mL)
SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS: Pholcodine may cause nausea and vomiting. Restlessness, excitement and ataxia may occur after large doses.
Side-effects of squill include nausea and vomiting. It should not be given to patients with impaired renal function. Its use is not advisable in patients with cardiac disorders.

Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.
IDENTIFICATION: Orange - yellow linctus.
PRESENTATION: 100 mL bottle.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Store in a cool, dry place, below 25°C and away from light.
Keep out of reach of children.
