CALENDULA 10% OINTMENT

Antiseptic Healing Ointment

COMPOSITION:     Per 100 g
  Calendula Herba   20g

INDICATIONS:
  1) Healing of wounds.
  2) Healing of cuts, grazes, boils, spots and abscesses.
  3) Dry eczema.
  4) Suppurative tendencies of the skin and underlying tissue.

MODE OF ACTION:
Calendula: contains salicylic acid, calenduline and saponine. The extract has a cleansing, disinfecting and healing effect when used externally.
         
DOSAGE: FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY
Unless otherwise directed,
Apply to the affected area several times daily.
         
COMMENT: An excellent all purpose healing and disinfecting cream. For open wounds disinfect these first with Calendula Lotion (Weleda).
If there is a tendency to sepsis or recurrent infections apply Echinacea 10% ointment (Weleda) externally and take Arnica/Echinacea drops (Weleda) internally.
