All sunbeds are approved by the British Bureau of Standards.

Tanning is managed and controlled by a safety timer. In addition, the UV-B content of the tubes is far less than normal sunlight, thereby minimising the risk of sunburn.

Health Watch

Tanning with a sunbed should be treated with the same caution as tanning in natural sunlight. If you have any of the following, please consult your doctor first. Are you:

                - taking any form of drug or medication?

                - a diabetic?

                - very sensitive to sunlight?

                - prone to giddiness or fainting?

                - pregnant?

        Also, if you suffer from:

                - blood pressure abnormalities

                - hypertension

                - prickly heat

                - cold sores

                - allergies

                - skin ulcers

                - any skin ailments

Tanning Precautions

Goggles should be worn at all times. Remove contact lenses, keep eyes closed and avoid looking directly at the tubes. Do not tamper with the light tubes or any part of the equipment while it is switched on. After you have finished a session always disconnect equipment from mains. Please ensure that all users are made fully aware of these precautionary measures.
